About me

Thank you for visiting my website!  If you haven’t yet, please feel free to take a look at my resume and watch some of my video clips.  If you’re curious to know a little more about me, then you’re in the right section!

I was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and then my family and I moved to Jacksonville, Florida, a few years later.  Growing up in Jacksonville, I was very lucky to be involved in the city’s robust theatre community.  Being a part of dozens of shows, I spent thousands of hours rehearsing and performing, and I couldn’t have hoped for a more practical, in-depth, hands-on education under the tutelage of immensely talented actors, directors, producers, choreographers, and musicians.  The lessons I learned, and memories and friendships I formed, were invaluable.  While my early focus was theatre, I would also perform in TV, film, and commercials when the roles were available (and I was lucky enough to win them).

I went to college at Florida State University where I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and another in criminology.  I then went to the University of Florida where I earned my juris doctorate (yep, I’m a lawyer).  After a brief stint as a public defender, I began teaching law with a focus on legal writing and bar-exam preparation.  While in school, both as a student and later as a teacher, I kept acting as much as I could and was able to apply my varied experiences toward my performances (the psychology of character and the performing aspects of trial work and classroom teaching; I also played a lawyer and a teacher a few times.).

Although I enjoyed teaching, I wanted to focus on my acting career, so a few years ago, I moved to New York City where I have been following my dream as a film, TV, stage, commercial, and voice-over actor (with a very strong interest in writing and producing).  Thank you for taking an interest in my site and my story!  Please feel free to contact me with any questions and come back again soon to see what’s new!
